Composites Senior Researcher – AIMEN

Main Duties:

Be part of Advanced Composites Technology tema, the main duties will be:

• Development of R&D Projects on the field of composites: work plan definition, experimental trials control, results analysis, monitoring reports, deliverables and presentations.
• Continuous update on the State of the Art related with composites under the R&D projects.
• Congresses, conferences, and other scientific and dissemination events active attendee.
• Participation within National and European R&D project proposals: definition of technical approach, objectives, SoA and work plan.

Education

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or any other that contains materials science.
• Master / PhD / Postdoctoral in the field of composites.

Job specific skills

• Knowledge on polymeric matrix composites.
• Desirable deep knowledge on thermoplastic composites (properties, mechanical behavior) and manufacturing processes as press, injection, automated lay-up (AFP/ATL), and welding.
• Composites testing: common techniques and tests (physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal).
• Knowledge of the different R&D calls (National and European) mainly in Horizon Europe Program.
• Team-working abilities in dynamic and multidisciplinary working environments.
• Advanced organizational skills and high autonomy level.
