The Galician Automotive Technology Center is an entity dedicated to the development, research, and technological innovation in the automotive sector. Its mission is to contribute to the improvement of the competitiveness of automotive companies by offering support for the modernization and adaptation to new technologies in the sector. To achieve this, it has modern facilities equipped with state-of-the-art technology and highly skilled human resources.
CTAG works on various stages of new product and process development, from applied research to series life validation. It provides comprehensive solutions for the development of innovations and large industrial projects. This includes body design, interior, and component design, as well as vehicle modifications.
It addresses the definition, implementation, and fine-tuning of new industrial processes. It contributes to the digital transformation of the industry through artificial vision, cobotics, additive manufacturing, Big Data, and other key technologies in Industry 4.0.
CTAG has its own laboratories for complete component and system validation, including climate, vibration and acoustics, fatigue, passive safety, engine and electronics, and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems).
