With 59 years of experience serving innovation and industry, AIMEN is a national benchmark in R&D&I and in the provision of technological services in the fields of materials, advanced manufacturing processes, digitalisation and sustainability.

Located in O Porriño (Pontevedra), it employs more than 330 highly qualified professionals and boasts a cutting-edge technological ecosystem that includes advanced laboratories and unique pilot plants.

The Centre develops innovative solutions for key sectors such as mobility, aeronautics, energy, metalworking and the chemical industry.

AIMEN is also a leader in laser applications. Its Laser Applications Centre is unique in Spain, both in terms of its infrastructure and its highly specialised team, and is one of the leading references in southern Europe.

Recognised as one of Spain’s most outstanding technology centres, AIMEN has solid experience in projects funded by European programmes such as Horizon Europe. Its network of collaborators — including leading companies, universities and research centres — strengthens its ability to address the most complex industrial challenges.

With a strong presence in research at both European and international levels, AIMEN collaborates with countries such as Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Finland and Sweden to promote digital and efficient manufacturing, helping to transform global industry towards smarter and more sustainable models.
