EARTO WG EU RD&I Programmes Experts Meeting

The General Director of ATIGA, Fernando Val, will attend the EARTO Working Group on EU RD&I Programmes Experts Meeting on October 27th.
This technical meeting brings together leading experts from European Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs) to analyze and define EARTO's strategic positions on European Union innovation policies.
The following key points will be debated during this meeting:
- The design of the future FP10: Strategic planning and budget proposals for the next Research and Innovation Framework Programme (2028-2034).
- Optimization of Horizon Europe: Evaluation of current calls, development of strategic plans by clusters, and preparation of technical consultations for the European Commission.
- Sovereignty and Technological Competitiveness: Boosting Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), EU Missions, and Public-Private Partnerships.
- Funding Synergies: Coordination between European RD&I funds, the new Competitiveness Fund, and regional cohesion policies.
A crucial space for debate to ensure that the voice of the European technological ecosystem directly influences the future of EU scientific funding.
