This system will be based on new models for the analysis of health data, and at the same time, PERSIST will have an mHealth system for remote and personalized monitoring of each patient. In addition, the partners will develop a Big Data platform that integrates both systems and connects to the electronic health record systems of any hospital.

The initiative includes the implementation of a transnational pilot with more than 150 patients and 32 healthcare professionals from 4 different countries, which will be decisive for the project.

The PERSIST project will represent a radical advancement in the quality of treatment and follow-up care for cancer survivors. With it, we will not only develop innovative applications based on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data but also demonstrate their effectiveness in improving the quality of life for these patients. Its approach will be entirely focused on them, taking into account all necessary elements of the healthcare ecosystem to ensure a swift assimilation of the results in the European context.
