Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Technology Center (ENERGYLAB)

EnergyLab is committed to decarbonization through the efficient and sustainable use of resources and specializes in promoting energy efficiency and sustainability through the development of innovative projects. Its goal is to enhance the competitiveness of businesses by carrying out innovative projects that improve energy performance and reduce the environmental impact of their activities.

EnergyLab has its offices and laboratories located in the CITEXVI building (Technological City of Vigo), facilities dedicated entirely to providing advanced technological services oriented towards the development of corporate R&D&I projects. Its location fosters the generation of synergies in terms of cooperation between technological centers, university research groups, technology-based companies, and the industrial and business fabric, with the aim of promoting competitiveness and technological excellence in companies.

EnergyLab’s laboratories are equipped with high-tech equipment and offer services for the development of R&D&I projects related to the valorization of organic waste through the production of renewable gases, the valorization of biomass waste, and the testing of new biofuels for transportation.
